The audio market has seen consistent price adjustments in recent years, but the latest drop for Soundcore’s flagship consumer model stands out for its scale. As of October 23, the Space 2 noise-canceling headphones are available for $106.49 at Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart. This price represents a $23 reduction from the standard list price and marks the lowest cost for the device since its release.

The discount applies to all three available color options. Soundcore, a subsidiary of Anker, positions the Space 2 as an upgrade to the Space One, which launched in 2023. While the newer model carries a $30 higher initial list price than its predecessor, the current sale narrows that gap considerably for buyers looking for high-value noise cancellation.

Technical improvements distinguish the Space 2 from the earlier version. The new model features enhanced active noise cancellation that more effectively suppresses low-frequency sounds, such as those generated by train engines or airplane turbines. Soundcore also adjusted the design to deliver more accurate audio output than the original Space One.

Key features from the previous generation remain intact. The headphones support high-resolution LDAC audio transmission. They also include HearID 3.0, a personalization tool that allows users to calibrate sound based on their specific hearing responses through a series of audio tests.

Battery performance has improved alongside the audio upgrades. With active noise cancellation enabled, the Space 2 operates for up to 50 hours, an increase from the 40 hours offered by the Space One. When noise cancellation is disabled, the runtime extends to 70 hours, compared to 55 hours on the older model. A 3.5mm jack provides a wired connection option for when the battery is depleted.

The Verge’s John Higgins previously identified the Space One as a top choice for budget noise-canceling headphones. He notes that the Space 2 maintains that strong value proposition while offering superior sound quality and noise suppression. The current $106.49 price point places the device below its historical pricing, making it a direct competitor to other mid-range audio gear.
