Newegg has reduced the price of the ABS Stratos II Ruby pre-built gaming PC by $450. The system is now listed at $2,549.99, down from its previous list price.
The machine pairs an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card. It also includes 32GB of DDR5 memory. ABS is a brand owned by Newegg, which explains the product's prominent placement on the retailer's platform.
According to Tom's Hardware, this is currently the most affordable RTX 5070 Ti system available from Newegg. The outlet predicts the inventory will sell out rapidly due to the pricing.
The central processing unit is an eight-core chip utilizing AMD 3D V-Cache technology. This design increases the L3 cache to 96MB. A larger cache reduces the frequency of calls to slower system memory, which lowers latency and stabilizes frame rates. Tom's Hardware notes that while the chip is no longer the absolute top performer in benchmarks, it remains very close to the leader. No Intel processor currently matches the gaming performance of an X3D series part.
The graphics card is a current-generation Nvidia Blackwell model with 8,960 CUDA cores and 16GB of GDDR7 video memory. It supports DLSS with multi-frame generation. The hardware is suitable for 1440p and 4K gaming. The 16GB of video memory provides more capacity than the 8GB found on lower-tier RTX 5060 and RTX 5050 cards.
The system includes two 16GB G.Skill Ripjaws M5 Neo RGB memory modules running at 6,000 MT/s. Storage is handled by a 2TB Team Group NV5000 M.2 SSD with Gen 4 speeds. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and Ethernet. A Bitspower 240mm all-in-one liquid cooler manages heat for the processor.
Tom's Hardware described the current price as strong for the market. The assessment cited the $450 discount and the specific combination of the 9800X3D processor and RTX 5070 Ti graphics card.
