Oppo's Find X10 Pro Max went on sale in Europe at €1,799, a price that puts a standard slab phone within a few hundred euros of Samsung's folding phone. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 sells for €1,999 on the continent. A reviewer who has used the Oppo handset for several weeks called the figure hard to accept for a non-folding device.

The Find X10 Pro Max runs on a MediaTek processor. The reviewer reported strong camera performance, good battery life and satisfying day-to-day operation. Buyers who prioritize those three areas would be satisfied with the hardware, the reviewer wrote.

The cost is not isolated to Oppo. Samsung's Galaxy S26 Ultra lists at €1,769 in Europe, and Xiaomi is rumored to face similar pricing for its next European release. The reviewer attributed the climb to industry conditions shaped by AI companies and used the term "RAMageddon" for the memory market. Reddit users have noted the Find X10 Pro Max matches the iPhone 18 Pro Max price, and some said regional pricing looks disproportionate.

Prior generation hardware costs less in Europe. The Find X9 Pro sells for roughly €1,000, while commenters reported the Find X9 Ultra carries more memory and a larger battery than the new model at a lower price. The reviewer wrote they would pick the Find X9 Ultra over the new phone if the price dropped, and suggested the Find X9 Pro makes more sense for many buyers.

Some UK buyers reported using promotional offers to reduce what they paid for the new device. The reviewer said those discounts do not change the list price, which stands at €1,799 in a market where phone costs are already high.
