Gamers looking to swap an LCD panel for OLED technology now face a lower entry price. Best Buy reduced the cost of Acer's Predator XB27OU, a 27-inch QD-OLED gaming display, by $50, leaving it at $329.99 as of October 23, 2026. The monitor ships with a 26.5-inch QD-OLED panel rated at 2,560 x 1,440 pixels, a resolution commonly called QHD or 2K.

The hardware is built around speed. It runs at a 240Hz refresh rate and reports a 0.03ms gray-to-gray response time, a figure enabled by OLED technology. The screen also carries AMD's FreeSync Premium certification, which matches refresh rate to a game's frame rate and removes screen tearing.

Color reproduction is the other selling point. Acer rates the XB27OU at 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut with a Delta E accuracy figure below 2, and the display supports HDR10, a 10-bit color standard that raises contrast, color depth and brightness over standard dynamic range. OLED panels are known for deep blacks and strong contrast.

Connectivity covers multiple machines at once. Two HDMI 2.1 ports and one DisplayPort 1.4 port let a gaming PC and a pair of game consoles share the same screen. A 26.5-inch QHD panel also keeps frame rate demands within reach for mid-range graphics cards, according to Tom's Hardware, which reports on the display's specifications and the discount.

The price cut follows a pattern of markdowns on QD-OLED hardware. Buyers who have held off on upgrading from an IPS monitor can pick up the XB27OU at $329.99 through Best Buy's listings. The product page shows the reduced figure as of October 23, 2026.
